How do I book a trip?

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes – a 50% deposit secures your booking.
What happens if the weather is bad?
All trips are weather permitting. If a trip is cancelled because of bad weather or unsuitable sea conditions, your deposit is fully refunded. Please give us a contact number when you book so we can send you weather updates.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before your trip.
When is whale watching season?
Our whale watching cruises run from June to November, when Humpback and Southern Right whales pass along our coast. Dolphins can be seen all year round.
How much does whale watching cost?
R1,250 per person, based on a minimum of 4 passengers on the boat. Large group discounts are available.
Where do trips depart from?
Whale watching cruises depart from Port St Francis, a short boat ride from the whale sighting areas. We’ll confirm the meeting point for your trip when you book.
Is there an age limit?
There’s no age restriction on whale watching, and our 3-hour family fishing trips are made for younger anglers.
Can we book a private boat?
Yes – ask about booking your own boat. Large group discounts are available.
What fishing trips do you offer?
Half day and full day deep sea fishing, family “Dads & Lads” trips, night fishing, big game fishing for tuna and marlin, river fishing on the Kromme River and guided rock & surf fishing. See Fishing Charters.
